In 2021, VIVANT is expanding with an exclusive series dedicated to the art of food and wine pairing.
The “Essentials of Food & Wine Pairing” experience focuses on the key pillars for matching sustainable cuvées with different flavors.
The 35-minute live session experience presents the six primary taste sensations — salty, sour, bitter, umami, fat and sweet — and combines them with wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy and the Loire with a variety of sweet and dry whites, bold and light reds, etc.
Participants will be guided by VIVANT’s expert Wine Advisors through key learnings and misconceptions about cooking and pairing.
With do-it-yourself pairings, you can taste some of the world’s best responsibly made wines, such as Isabelle et Denis Pommier’s Petit Chablis Hautérivien 2018 and Château Haut-Bages Libéral’s Pauillac 2016.
